Electronic Signature Consent

1. Introduction
This Electronic Signature Consent (“E-Sign Consent”) describes how DropSentry uses electronic records and signatures in connection with our childcare check-in services. By using our Service, you consent to conduct transactions electronically and to use electronic signatures.
2. Consent to Electronic Signatures
By using DropSentry’s check-in and check-out features, you agree that:
- Your electronic signature (including tapping “Confirm,” entering a PIN, or using biometric authentication) has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature
- Electronic records of check-ins, check-outs, and authorizations are legally binding
- You intend to sign documents and records electronically
- You consent to receive documents and disclosures electronically
3. What Documents Are Signed Electronically
Electronic signatures are used for the following types of documents and records:
- Check-In Records: Confirming drop-off of a child at a facility
- Check-Out Records: Confirming pick-up of a child from a facility
- Guardian Authorization: Authorizing additional guardians to pick up children
- Emergency Contact Consent: Designating emergency contacts
- Facility Agreements: Acknowledging facility rules and policies
- Payment Authorization: Authorizing subscription or pass payments
- Terms and Privacy Acknowledgment: Accepting our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
4. Electronic Signature Methods
We accept the following as valid electronic signatures:
- Tapping a confirmation button (e.g., “Confirm Check-In”)
- Entering a personal identification number (PIN)
- Using biometric authentication (Face ID, Touch ID)
- Typing your name in a signature field
- Drawing your signature on a touchscreen
- Authenticating through your registered account
5. Hardware and Software Requirements
To use electronic signatures and access electronic records, you need:
- A device (smartphone, tablet, or computer) with internet access
- A current web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge) or our mobile app
- The ability to download or print documents for your records
- A valid email address to receive confirmations and records
Our Service supports iOS 16.0 and later, and modern web browsers.
6. Record Retention
All electronically signed documents and records are:
- Stored securely with timestamps and signature verification
- Retained for the period required by applicable childcare regulations
- Available for you to access through your account
- Exportable upon request in PDF or other standard formats
7. Legal Effect
Under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN Act) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA), electronic signatures and records have the same legal validity as paper documents and handwritten signatures.
Your electronic signature on check-in and check-out records serves as legal documentation of:
- The date and time of the transaction
- The identity of the person signing
- The child(ren) involved in the check-in or check-out
- Your acknowledgment of facility policies at the time of signing
8. Obtaining Paper Copies
You have the right to receive paper copies of any electronically signed documents. To request paper copies:
- Export records from your account dashboard
- Contact us at hello@dropsentry.com
- Request printed copies from your childcare facility
There may be a fee for providing paper copies beyond a reasonable number.
9. Withdrawing Consent
You may withdraw your consent to use electronic signatures at any time by:
- Contacting us at hello@dropsentry.com
- Requesting to use alternative paper-based processes through your facility
Note: Withdrawing consent may limit your ability to use certain features of our Service, including digital check-in and check-out. Your facility may require paper sign-in sheets as an alternative.
Withdrawal of consent does not affect the legal validity of documents you have already signed electronically.

To ensure you receive electronic records and notifications, please keep your contact information current. You can update your email address and phone number through:
